The AI Chat in LunaNotes is your personal learning and productivity assistant.
Unlike the in-note chat, this feature lives in its own workspace — accessible from the Chat section — where you can have longer, creative, or research-based conversations with the AI. You can use it to brainstorm ideas and outlines for essays or projects, ask questions about topics you’re studying, create new notes automatically from conversations, generate diagrams, flashcards, or summaries with a single click.
💡 Think of it as your personal study partner and writing assistant — always available to help you learn and create.
🚀 Steps to Use the AI Chat
Step 1: Go to the Chat section
From your LunaNotes workspace, click 💬 Chat in the left sidebar.
Step 2: Start a new conversation
Click + New Chat (or use the existing chat if you’ve already started one).
This opens a blank conversation window where you can begin chatting with the AI.

Step 3: Type your message or question
In the message box, write what you want to ask or create.
You can start with prompts like:
-
“Explain the theory of relativity in simple terms.”
-
“Create a note about the history of space exploration.”
-
“Give me 5 study tips for learning astronomy.”
-
“Summarize the key points of the Big Bang theory.”

💡 The more specific your question, the better the results.
Step 4: Use AI actions to create content
Once the AI responds, you can use quick actions under the message area to:
-
✍️ Create a Note — instantly turn the chat content into a new note
-
📚 Generate Flashcards — create flashcards for study
-
🧩 Generate a Diagram — visualize relationships between concepts
-
🧠 Summarize or Improve text — refine AI responses

🔄 All chat interactions are saved automatically, so you can revisit them anytime.
Step 5: Manage your chat history
Your previous AI conversations appear on the left panel.
You can rename them, delete old ones, or reopen previous sessions to continue your work.
